QSU GameJam 2024

We aim to provide suitable challenges for different participants. Although this GameJam is longer than usual, both beginners in game development and seasoned GameJam veterans will face challenges here—"challenges in game creation and promotion."

image

For Beginners

We hope you can discuss and create an ideal game with your teammates in the first week. In the second week, the game demo should be ready for playtesting, and an introduction video for promotion should be made.

For Veterans

We hope you can complete the game demo in the first week and create a social media account for promotion. In the second week, continue to optimize the game and operate the promotion platform. Before the influence scoring deadline in the third week, gain enough attention and influence on social media.

Grand Awards

Based on the overall evaluation by the competition organizers and the preferences of the judges and special guests, three projects will receive the Summer Grand Awards. Winners will get the opportunity to be assisted by the competition organizers in listing their projects on Steam. (A more distinctive name is needed)

Nomination Awards

Before the competition starts, some nomination awards will be announced. During the evaluation process, dynamic nomination awards will be given based on the unique highlights of different projects, according to feedback from the judges and special guests. These awards will include additional prizes and rewards. (Best Design) (Idea King/Best Creativity) (Best Planning/Level Design)
